How did you arrive at the name of your band?
It was inspired by the movie Creepshow. I was driving after seeing the movie and wanted the name of a senile elderly woman. Lillian popped into my head, and the axe just fell into place.
What is the significance In that title?
It's just a whimsical name combining edge and a bit of senility.
Describe your sound.
Passionate, powerful, intense, dark and beautiful.
There are so many genres/sub genres now–did your sound develop over time or did you go into this project with a definite concept in place?
It definitely grew and developed. It is still in that process and will forever.
What is the message your songs impart?
There are a multitude of individual lessons and observances. However, the main theme is the power and beauty of our existence. The importance and strength of following the good road leads us to incredible wealth and happiness. I also have a deep melancholy side which questions the purpose of evil.

If I was a butterfly on the wall of one of your rehearsals…who would you say is the "leader"?
I am.
Tell me the funniest, wackiest thing to ever happen to you during a gig?
On tour with Accept we dropped 1,000 ping pong balls on stage during Balls to the Wall.
There are many "bells and whistles" in the studio today…how do you think your studio sound translates to a live performance?
We attempt our absolute best to play live the way the songs were recorded on the album. I don't enjoy seeing a band change the songs up for the sake of "artistic creativity" at a live show.
What has been your greatest disappointment to date? What is your greatest triumph?
Watching the music business go down the tubes is the biggest disappointment. Greatest triumph is being inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
What makes you unique or different?
Our DNA, our chemistry. What makes an apple different from an orange? It just is.
If you could give one piece of advice to other Indie groups, what would that be?
Be involved in many avenues of income and productivity. Surround yourself with great people. PLAY PLAY PLAY! Write, create, enjoy.
How important is Social Media to development of your fan base? How do you market yourselves?
We do all the typical social media such as Facebook, Reverbnation, Twitter, etc. We are constantly updating and bringing our movements to the fan base.
Where do you see yourselves in five years? Immediate future plans?
3 more albums out and continual growth. Writing the next Lillian record, playing lots of shows, and doing a live streaming event around Halloween.
Who would you like to thank for your success thus far?
God, my wife, my son and daughter, my parents, my family, my friends, my band, myself.
