Coke McFinlay

Virus

Virus (UK) are state of the art Thrash, beyond the borders of brutality. In the late 80s, bad blood in the band lead to decline and each parted ways. However Coke Finlay was not content with ending the viral warfare, so with a revived sense of freedom, he found new members to encourage more murder in the moshpit. After a revolving door of musicians, and having released the deadly EPs: "Raped By Mutants" & "A New Strain Of An Old Disease", Coke returns with his most solid line-up to date. These rampant mutants have unleashed "Evilution Apocalypse" - a Speed Metal Monster return to Thrashville. Each cut is pure lunacy with shockers like: "The Hand That Feeds You", "Multiple Wargasms" and "Defective Detective". Each punishing track has witty lyrics with keen anecdotal inspiration. Michael Francisco spoke with the "Geriatric Thrasher" about his involvement with Virus on such parasitic invasions as "Force Recon", "Lunacy" & "Pray For War". He got to know Coke on a more personal level, where seeing is believing. Testify to Metal because their pro bono return verifies that Virus are hungry for blood and prepared to bash the skulls of their enemies!
