THE APEX recently released their self-titled debut CD to rave reviews, drawing comparisons to MESHUGGAH and DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, although their Canadian roots provide a unique twist that is all their own. Formed in 2013, THE APEX came together from past bands such as CLOSED CASKET FUNERAL, DISMATA, BLOOD SHOT EYE, THE COALITION DESIGN, and CORPROPHEMIA, resulting in a brutal sonic assault, coupled with the emotional reckless abandonment of their live performance.
