CURVED AIR: The British Progressive Rock Legends To Perform In Israel

Progstage Productions just announced the upcoming arrival of the British Progressive Rock band, CURVED AIR, which is expected to perform at the Teder Club, Rishon Lezion in November 7[sup]th[/sup].
The veteran band was formed in 1970 and was the first to use violin, as a major leading instrument, in the Progressive Rock genre. The band is also known due to its prominent lead singer, Sonja Kristina, which was originally a British Folk singer, adding another dimension to the band's music.
After a successful tour with BLACK SABBATH, the band released its debut album, "Air Conditioning", which turned up 8[sup]th[/sup] place in the British charts. Among the great songs, the album consists of the hit "Vivaldi", which has been considered as one of the genre's classic tunes.
A year following the release of the band's sophomore, which consists of the hit single "Backstreet Luv", reached 4[sup]th[/sup] place in the British charts and in time became one of the band's top songs. Furthermore, in 1972, the album "Phantasmagoria", which consists of some of the high valued songs in Progressive Rock such as "Marie Antoinette" and "Melinda More Or Less".
In 1976, the band released the album "Airborne" and afterwards disbanded. The album featured Stuart Copeland, which after the disbandment of CURVED AIR formed POLICE alongside Andy Summers and Sting.
2008 saw CURVED AIR's reformation, six years afterwards the band released a new album, "North Star".
Israel is expected to witness CURVED AIR and its great line up of Sonja Kristina (Vocals), Florian Pilkington-Miksa (Drums), Kirby Gregory (Guitars) and three additional members that has been with the band since 2008-2009.
CURVED AIR's show will be sitting show and offers only 300 tickets. First 50 tickets shall be sold in a discounted price of 219 NIS. Following the sale of 50 tickets, the price shall be sold for 249 NIS.
