Supersuckers - Get It Together album cover

The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World is back! Eddie Spaghetti put his band together again, overcoming the many problems of the last 8 years and they are delivering to us a nice Rock album.

The previous years were not easy for the band. Eddie saw drummer and founding member, Dancing Eagle, leaving the band and they had to go through countless candidates till they found Scott Scottzilla Churilla as a permanent replacement. In addition the plans for frequent releases of EP that began with Paid in 2006, through the band's own record label Mid-Fi Recordings, never actually fruited and were abandoned. Despite all these problems, SUPERSCUKERS never gave up and eight years after their last full length CD, Motherfuckers Be Trippin', they have a new album out.

Get it Together contains eight brand new songs plus four more from their Paid EP. Although they are still pure Rock, hard and fun and groovy, don't expect the old wild garage/punk thing they were playing back in the 90s. Their music is, as always, fun and enjoyable to listen to. The fact that they decided to broaden up a bit their target group and include a few more easy-Rock tunes might do them some good and get them out of the underground US rock scene giving them some more air time, a thing they deserve.

They haven't forgotten though their old fans. Songs like I like it all man and I'm a fucking genius will satisfy those who love SUPERSUCKERS for their speed and energy, a trait they saw even better in their live shows. Plus they have a nice blues/country slow song, as cheesy as it can get, perfect for those nice romantic moments with your girl.

SUPERSCUKERS never claimed to be music geniuses or something. They play simple, fun, solid Rock, the one we like to listen to in the pubs and bars or during a nice road trip. This is what they do and they do it good. And we thank them for that.
