Former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley is to play a special acoustic showcase on Saturday 10th January 2015 in the lush surroundings of Castle Rock Studios, Alderley Edge, Cheshire. This is to mark the beginning of Blaze's 15th Anniversary year since the release of his iconic first post-Maiden album "Silicon Messiah".

The showcase is hosted jointly by Get Your Rock Out webzine, Rocksector Records and Castle Rock Studios and availability of places at this intimate and unique event is extremely limited. However, in addition to the invitation-only press passes, there will be 10 free tickets made available to fans via a competition run by Get Your Rock Out.

Blaze will be joined on acoustic guitar by Chris Appleton of British metal band Absolva, who plays lead guitar in Blaze's full metal touring band for UK and Europe, as well as Chris' brother Luke who is bassist with American power metallers Iced Earth and has also previously played in Blaze's band.

There will be one support act at the acoustic showcase, singer-songwriter Liz Owen. Liz's unique vocals and haunting melodies have delighted audiences across the country, and she'll be setting the scene for a night of stunning music.

As well his customary expansive tours of Europe and South America, on 18th July 2015 Blaze will also be playing a special "Silicon Messiah" exclusive set at SOS Festival, Radcliffe, Manchester. That will be a full metal show with backing band comprised of Absolva band members Chris Appleton (lead guitar), Martin McNee (Drums) and Karl Schramm (bass). The plan is that within the setlist that night, the entire "Silicon Messiah" songs are played plus bonus tracks.
