Sylosis have released the first trailer for their new album, "Dormant Heart". In the first album trailer for the band's fourth studio album, guitarist and vocalsist Josh Middleton discusses the history behind the album title, the band's time in the studio, and who assisted with production. Dormant Heart was produced by Josh Middleton, with help from the producer Scott Atkins, and was mastered by TesseracT guitarist Acle Kahney. The artwork was handled by Bristol-based artist Bonfire, who has previous done artwork for OPETH, SATYRICON and KATATONIA, and has also produced T-shirt designs for SYLOSIS in the past.

Working away secretly in between their tour commitments, the band began tracking the new album in March 2014. The drums were recorded at Monkey Puzzle Studios by the band's original drummer Rob Callard, who parted ways with the band last month due to time restraints. His replacement, BLEED FROM WITHIN drummer Ali Richardson, stood in oin drums throughout their Spring 2014 tour before becoming a full time member after Callard's departure.
