Yorkshires own New Model Army have seen a massive resurgence over the past year and October 5th sees the UK premiere of their film - Between Dog & Wolf The New Model Army Story.

The first screening outside of London will be at Manchester Cornerhouse Cinema on the 14th November with Justin Sullivan, Director Matt Reid and producer Jonathan Green in attendance.

The Bradford National Museum of Film and television screening will be on Saturday November 15th more details to be confirmed shortly.

September 8th sees the release of a unique album following less than 1 year from the successful "Between Dog and Wolf" album which received outstanding critical acclaim and saw the band chart top 30 in UK and Germany, giving them most successful album in 20 years. It was again mixed in Los Angeles by Joe Barresi , best known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden,Tool and Hole.

The new album is a hybrid, part studio part live. The 6 new songs include the single "Sunrise" and is a natural development of the musical ambition of the last album. The 11 live songs are taken from the 2013' Between Dog and Wolf" European tour. It features stunning new artwork from their longtime artistic collaborator Joolz.

The band's early 2014 was disrupted by longtime drummer, co-writer and co producer Michael Dean's health issues following his routine knee operation in January but the band returned to live duty with a stunning performance at Sonisphere at Knebworth House this summer. The band's postponed Spring between Dog and Wolf part 2 European tour takes place this Autumn. UK audiences have a special treat in store with the forthcoming "Between Wine and Blood" shows. This promises an evening of 2 parts. The first set is the band playing from their many rock songs, including the "Vengeance album which celebrates it's 30th anniversary this year. The second set will see the band joined by special guests and play many of their more musically ambitious numbers with arrangements not usually attempted outside a studio setting.

The band are also the subject of a feature film documentary about their history from director and Royal Television Society Award winner Matt Reid, previously known for his 2 BBC 1 documentaries on The Royal Family, ITV's The Savoy and Channel 4 'The Island" with Bear Grylls. The film covers the band from their inception to the making of "Between Dog and Wolf" and has been chosen to premiere in the UK at Raindance Film festival in London on October 5th at the Vue Cinema, Piccadilly.

"New Model Army is a remarkable band - as hungry and focused as ever, with a continually regenerating audience and insatiable creative ambition!"
