Young Colorado based modern hard rockers Red Tide Rising have debuted on Billboard magazine's Heatseeker's Chart at #3 with The Rising, in the album's first week of release.

The Death Box Records / Vanity Music Group release, recorded in the last half of 2013, The Rising was produced by Mike McAree (engineer for In This Moment) and Jeff Kanan (Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, Randy Jackson, Staind, Rick Rubin and others), The album's thirteen tracks reflect the work of a band - some of whom are still in their teens - working on a maturity level far beyond their actual years. "The song "2:13" was an older track from when we did the 'Inferno' sessions. It didn't make it onto that disc but it's a great song so we wanted to include it this time," relates guitarist, Andrew Whiteman, ""The Otherside" was one of the first songs we wrote for the album that we all participated in, and one of the first using MIDI for us as well. "Cold" is one of my favorite tracks off the record. It has a nice slow boil to it that makes it such a cool track (no pun intended). And finally, "The Rising" is our anthem. It's all about what we believe in as a band and working together to achieve greatness."

"We are extremely honored and humbled to be charting on Billboard for the first time," says Whiteman. "Thank you to everyone who has supported us to make this goal a reality. We look forward to having continued success in the charts and on the road!"

Red Tide Rising will tour throughout the winter into the spring, in both headlining and bigger support slots.
