Rob Zombierecently welcomed ex-MARILYN MANSONdrummerGinger Fishinto the current lineup of his band, replacingJoey Jordison, who is leaving to return toSLIPKNOT.The Pulse Of Radioasked Zombie if he could hear a difference in the group's sound with the new man on the kit. "It's hard to describe how they're different," he said. "I mean, you know,Joey's a very, like, more of a power drummer I would say, you know, just a more bombastic sort of drummer, andGinger's more of a, kind of like a groove-style drummer. It's kind of funny 'cause as with anything, either style seems to work really well with our music, so it's good."

Fishplayed his first shows withZombieback in February whileJordisonwas touring Europe with his side bandMURDERDOLLS.JordisonrejoinedZombie's band for some headlining U.K. dates before departing again.

Until his departure fromMARILYN MANSONin February of this year,FishwasManson's longest lasting band member, having played with the shock rocker since 1995.

Fans will get to seeFishon the road withZombiethis summer, whenZombieco-headlines a string of North American dates withSLAYER. The trek begins on July 20 in Reading, Pennsylvania, finishing up on August 6 in Seattle.

Zombieis also gearing up to begin shooting his next film as a director,"The Lords Of Salem", and also recently directed aWoolitecommercial and a special forComedy Centraltitled"Tom Papa: Live In New York City".
