Ahoy there mates... This is the latest release of the musickness called Pig Destroyer. It seems that new age grindcore is on it's uprising this time. Nasum, D.E.P, Pig Destroyer, regurgitate and a bunch of other bands are making the scene go crazy. In fact, Relapse records has the most lunatic and malevolent bands you could imagine. Well, pig destroyer had to be on that list.
The whole thing is about 35' and full of massive speed, Uncensored Brutality and Morbid Tunes that will keep you rocking for a long time. Pure grindcore elements mixed with dissonant melodies, extremely fast blast-beats and catchy tunes, this makes one hell of a record. But there are more. The drums have a crystal sound, only to be ruined by the noisy cymbals and the drill-like guitars. The vocals are not brutal as you expected, instead they are screams so hellish that brutal would not be enough.
After playing the 22 tracks and wake up from the nightmare, you will notice that one time is not enough, to be honest... Never is enough... I just can't stop listening to it. My, oh my, this might be in equal ranks with Nasum's Human 2.o.
Do not hesitate... Just puff a J and start the carnage...!!!
