The extreme underground label Anticulture Records is here with one more sick & twisted release. What is it going to be this time? Probably something that will be faster than the speed of light with some mid tempo groovy moments just for not being monotonous.

The UK metallers NAILED have been active for 8 years, releasing two full-length albums (including this one) and having shared the stage with acts like OBITUARY, ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, THE HAUNTED and SUFFOCATION among others. Something you may also find interesting is that the band's guitarist/vocalist Mass has participated in bands like DOMINION (yeah, the Peaceville ones) and the Gothic/Avant Garde metallers EBONYLAKE.

Even though I was sure that it was going to be a totally extreme release, the bands Mass was previously into were much more melodic... Of course, if it was a melodic Metal band it would not be a part of the UK label. Anyway, NAILED are nothing more than a brutal Death Metal band with classic for the genre compositions. The relentless all out blast attacks are accompanied by mid tempo beatdown moments - exactly as I said above - and in general, there is nothing different or so special that can make you like this band more than the rest of the average Death Metal bands.

Hatred, Failure & The Extinction Of Mankind is nothing more than an average brutal Death Metal album, but the bad thing is that the band has great technical abilities and they definitely could produce something more unique. I think that a bit more hard work would make NAILED known in the Death Metal scene.
