Canadians SKULL FIST have unleashed their second attack over South America, having had a very successful Brazilian tour in 2013 they now return for a full South America blast and Limeira could not be written off from the tour, this time the concert was held at The Mirage Club, another fine venue in the Metal Town! Invited to open the curtains for our Canadians guests were EVIL DEAD, SELVAGERIA and LEATHER FACES. It was a very hot steamy night and everyone were at the bar drinking as much as they could before EVIL DEAD took on the stage and initiated what turned out to be a great night.
EVIL DEAD a band from Avare in the Sao Paulo State formed in 2005 they play an Epic Heavy Metal style with a very medieval sound, I was actually quite surprised with their music and performance, first track was "Another Tyrant" very good song, lots of guitar work and great vocals, If you like RITUAL STEEL and MANILLA ROAD then you will love this band man, also very good stage posture, very nice guitars with that medieval sound, very catching indeed, good drummer, overall an excellent performance , at this time the crowd were gathering around the stage and those who did see EVIL DEAD actually saw a great band doing what they do best, kicking some goddamn asses. Well done guys!!!
Setlist:
1. Another Tyrant
2. Heavy One
3. Evil Dead
4. Lady Reaper
5. Anybody's Land
6. Spartacus
7. The Seer
8. Demonize
9. Seasons
Next on stage was SELVAGERIA, a band from Sao Paulo City formed in 2005 and their style is Speed Thrash sang in Portuguese, quite interesting indeed. I had seen the before in Sao Paulo and they always put a good performance, very skilled musicians wearing leather and playing very fast songs, "Intro" followed by "Metal Invasor" this way they begun their assault, I Love Gustavo's vocals, sharp and loud, "Trovao De Aco" very good guitars, great solos, at this time the crowd were pushing and smashing, SELVAGERIA have their own style and do things their own way and that's fucking cool, it was their first time in Limeira and everyone were pretty happy with their performance, killer show!!!
Setlist:
1. Intro
2. Metal Invasor (Metal Intruder)
3. Trovao De Aco (Thunder Of Steel)
4. Na Lamina Da Foice (On the Edge of A Scythe)

The evening was getting hot indeed, I was having a hell of a good time, spent the time with SKULL FIST drinking beer and enjoying the show, so next on stage was another band from Sao Paulo City also formed in 2005. LEATHERFACES playing Thrash Metal, they came on stage and went straight to business, they played most songs from their EP entitled "Leather Faces" fast songs, very good vocals and great guitars all the way, "Death Of Dreams" by now most of the crowd were ready for the main course but nevermind that because they were having a great time with LEATHERFACES, and "Satan Is Coming" for the party too. A very good performance by these maniacs from Sao Paulo, great musicians, very talented with the right attitude and playing True Metal, the crowd loved it, great stuff guys!!

1. Death Of Dreams
2. Satan is Coming
3. Fight For Your Blood
4. Without Hope
5.Leatherhead
6. Stand Up And Rise
7. Leatherface
Well, well, by now all the fans were very wind up and a bit drunk too, or perhaps "Drunk For Good" that would not be a problem at all because SKULL FIST fans can put up with anything really and our heroes were full of energy when they finally took the stage on and then all hell broke loose, "Ride The Beast" brought the fans to down to their knees SKULL FIST rules, great bunch of very nice guys, I had met them in 2013 in Sao Paulo and their attitude remains the same, very charismatic, friendly and down to earth human beings, the new guy J.J.Tartaglia on the drums fits in the band just right and he plays like a maniac on the loose, I spent a long time talking and drinking with them and I have to say, awesome people, lots of fun indeed, you guys fucking rule, please do comeback!!!
"Hour To Live" the fans were having a blast of a time, singing along all the songs, amazing stuff really, despite just having released a new album called "Chasing The Dream" the mix of songs played were very good a bit of everything, really good choice with the set list.
Mr Slaughter and crew really know how to have a great time and entertain the crowd, they have the crowd on the palm of their hands. SKULL FIST is a unique band with an unique style, and they do justice for the reputation that Canada has, all Canadian bands fucking rule!!! Last song for the night was "No False Metal" and all hell did break loose, everyone sang it along, there was a mix of feelings, good feelings, that is what SKULL FIST is about. Awesome!!!
