Ignea are a melodic Metal band with Folk Metal influences from Kyiv, Ukraine. Being formed in 2015, the band released one EP, one split, two full-length albums, and they currently work on recording the new album. With the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, Ignea was forced to change their priorities dramatically. Metal Temple writer Thomas Kumke had the opportunity to talk to vocalist Helle Bogdanova about the war in the Ukraine and how it affects the daily life of the band, how the band supports the fight of their country for freedom, the band's plans for the new album, as well as Helle's development as a vocalist.
