Mystery Blue

Melodic heavy rock from the French, well-known to some of you, band Mystery Blue. Their story starts back in the 80's when Frenzy, guitars, founded the band but due to the young age of its member's they lost their way. Although they were touring France, Germany and Belgium and supported Motorhead, Def Leppard and Saxon.
The band reborned in the beginning of 1996 having 3 new members and now they released a demo CD. As I was saying melodic heavy rock with a touch of progressive, a measure of power and a little of AOR and you get the recipe of Mystery Blue's music.
The band manage to mix a lot of different kinds of music in their sound and the female vocals by Nathalie gives a different, not common, and pleasant atmosphere. Their songs incorporating great ideas and they achieved to transform them into good tracks.
This demo CD is well produced although I think there was room for improvement, since I have the feeling that the balance of the instruments is somehow not right in certain parts. Also, their sound will remind you the late 80's.
It's a very good demo CD and Mystery Blue surprised me in a nice way. I don't know if these guys already sign a contract with a record label but I hope they will, soon. I am waiting to hear from them in the future, that time with a complete album. Good work guys !
