Interdimensional War of Satan
Eternal Drak
Formed in 1997 and originally hailing from Columbia, ETERNAL DRAK is a Black/Death/Thrash metal band. "Interdimensional War of Satan" is their newest EP, and it has five songs. "The Ambition of Satan" is first. The music is pretty elementary, and it sounds like early prototypical Thrash. "Proud of My Creation" isn't much better. Again, the scope of the songwriting is very simplistic, and they do little to bring the music to life. "Whispers" brings more of the same, and I am really struggling to find anything to champion on the album so far. The band seems to be struggling as well. These songs are just very, very bland.
"Interdimensional War" doesn't offer anything new to the album at all. "Contra Viento" is really the first and only song where the band interjects some of their personality into their music. This is at least an interesting sound. As a reviewer, I am obligated to be as objective as possible. With that being said, this was one of the worst albums that I have ever heard, and I hate to say that. Take a time machine back 30 years ago, and it would still be. Even with all of the music that has come and gone since then, this sound stands as a dinosaur in the Metal genre today. This was a very difficult album to listen to.
