Demoralize - The Dragon's Call album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: DEMORALIZE: unsigned independently, hailing from Greek grounds - performing Symphonic Metal, on their debut EP entitled: "The Dragon's Call" (released September 2nd, 2022). Since formation in 2016; the sextet in question have only this debut EP in their discography so far entitled: "The Dragon's Call", finally a release after all those years. 5 tracks ranging around 21:09; DEMORALIZE arranges an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Symphonic Metal developments.

Opening up with this rampantly rompy piledrive of thudding sturdiness; this symphonic synthetic of remedic melody rivets with rumbling reverberation & monolithic tempo which manifests with ripping shreds amongst a boisterously bouncy calamity in amplified adrenaline within "Bloodlust Rising", venomously surging with operatic medley - this vibrantly potent rift revels with rigorous vigour amongst a harmonic but dynamically zealous tremor that showcases this organic substance of impactfully dense impulse that's rather weighty whilst punchy with volatile tightness to boot. "Chainfire" grinds exuberantly into a barrage frenzy in blistering clobbers and belting chimes; as guitar fretter Gus Ringas (on lead) executes at a dexterously flamboyant technique on rapidly swift nimbleness, rhythmic strife trembles speakers whilst stridently riffing with synergetic stability with rhythm revver Kostas Kosmopoulos. Both twin with towering pursuit & striking solidity, forging a chugging frolic on trailblazing maelstrom momentum that fabricates at a firing all cylinders approach and an all guns blazing attribute in which soars with wildly rushing sharpness on razor-melting vehemence for good measure.

"Dragon's Call" crafts a groovy aesthetic in bombing drum cymbal hammerings from Foivos Andriopoulos who stomps the set with steely precision & rambunctiously ramming smacks of bolt bashing flexibility, while thumping out some meaty injections in infectious bass audibility finesse from Aris Nikoleris for technical thrust. Where nothing but a crunchy chunk experiments at a hybrid force in sonically seamless versatility whilst melodramatic vivaciousness slabs with sublime sanguinity & pummelling agility in effervescent instrumental songwriting musicianship that's most rollicking. The penultimate banger "Dreamwalker" salubriously engages in a frantic enrolment on majestic raze; where persistently persevering thunder ramifies with prolific resilience that has a grandiosity in grandeur and prodigious rumpus in a borderline foundation in ground-breaking furore also. A brimming dose in elegantly exquisite heaviness enthrals eardrums with revolving robustness on profuse virtuosity that's just a joy to rock to... not to forget Panos Skentzos' cords in which uproariously yells with shouty throatiness on orchestral prominence that's most rugged while raw yet screamingly headed in high-pitched professionalism that's also a delight to listen to.

Overall concluding "The Dragon's Call" with "The Prophet"; I am compelled to say that DEMORALIZE most surely outdone themselves with this short yet sweet EP, a complex but distinctively distinguished offering within this subgenre justifies itself epically with marvellous intrigue and prowess. Most definitely a spin worthy of re-playing until the next release, as a very remarkable yet enjoyably entertaining discovery divulges through you with an experience worth noting, do check it out.
