ORDER OF NOSFERAT is back! This International (Finnish/German) ice-cold vampiric black metal dungeon synth duo act will unleash their latest full-length, "Vampiric Wrath Unleashed", this December of 2022, along with their previous releases, "Nachtmusik" (March 2022) and their double 2021 releases, "Arrival of the Plague Bearer" and "Necuratul."
The first track I want to discuss is "Shadows Over Wisborg." The opening song on the record welcomes the listener with a frigid, raw, haunting atmosphere/musical spectrum consisting of instrumental work, such as different (distorted) types of riffs and alternating tremolo leads, with a few solos added, various tempo drum strikes and beats and vampiric shrieks. The next track for discussion is the fourth piece, "Fog Hide the Secrets of the Forlorn Kingdom", where the music moves from the frigid atmosphere of black metal to a sorrowful, chilling demise (instrumental) of the keys of dungeon synth/ambient musical score.
ORDER OF NOSFERAT welcomes (again) the significant discussion of which tracks to single out and discuss. "Vampiric Wrath Unleashed" is a perfect balance release of providing the listener with ten equally split tracks, where five of the tracks are (see track-listing above); this mixing of German/Norwegian frigid black metal structure with the doomy chilling sound & tragic atmosphere of Finnish black metal, while the other five pieces are (mentioned before) sorrowful, chilling demise (instrumental) of the keys of dungeon synth/ambient music score -thus creating this perfect DNA Raw Vampiric Blackened Dungeon Synth release. At the same time, "Vampiric Wrath Unleashed" plays like a Vampiric horror novel or the soundtrack to the 1922 silent German horror film/movie "Nosferatu."
ORDER OF NOSFERAT delivers a full-throttle combination of black metal and dungeon synth release, but overall gives the listener's ears a strong and well-arranged composition/composing of the music/instrumental work provided by excellent craftsmanship and musicianship, production and sound (only on the black metal pieces), which sounded like it was recorded in an ancient crypt of Vlad the Impaler's castle. In contrast, the dungeon synth-instrumental musical score was recorded in a forbidding wilderness. At the same time, the instrumental composing consists of different (distorted) types of riffs and alternating tremolo leads, with a few solos added with various tempo drum strikes and beats, vampiric shrieks and dungeon synth keys.
"Vampiric Wrath Unleashed" is a mixture of a perfect DNA of black metal and dungeon -with its atmosphere either cold or raw -yet sorrowful and demising simultaneously. Even the music matches the artwork, and the artwork matches the theme of bleakness and vampires.
