TORN FABRIKS debuts in the Thrash Metal universe with bringing his first full-length album entitled "Impera", through and independent label. After three singles and an ep the Portuguese band was finally prepared for a complete product, the trio manages to present a violent and concise sound very quickly in their riffs, referencing the classic Thrash Metal, even if their musicians do not have many releases through other bands, they give us the impression of already being on the road longer for all fresh and clean composition and production. The self-explanatory "Intro" starts slowly with a vision and a very mysterious environment, I believe that the idea here was to bring out the feeling of curiosity in the wait for what is to come, and what is to come is nothing less than beating and more beating!
"The Outcome" is simplistic, with a good synergy, is nothing out of the bubble, and not surprising by innovation but by the care with the details, there are no loose ends and here she shows up to give us the idea of how will be practically all the work that has another nine tracks besides its introduction, all having approximately three and a half minutes. For me, a Main feature of the proposed genre here, is the incessant pace and how much this makes us bag our head constantly, and this is done to the letter in "Hallucinating Levels" and "Here".
Next up we reach at "Leave Me Be" a very interesting song by the vocal game with a small alternation very pleasant to hear and good to fix in mind, in my opinion one of the best of the album along with "Against All Odds", which is more melodic, adding a pinch of Heavy Metal, making it pop-up a little from your friends and seeking to refresh the work. The theme addressed by the band in most of the fighting work and self-empoweringly, is quite evident on "Red Alert" and "Rise Or Fall", I do not know if it was reference to the trio, but reminded me enough of some lyrics of Arch Enemy. The sum of the debut is very positive, although it is raw, it is very well presented being recommended for all fans of the classic European and American Thrash Metal.
