Italian five piece Hard Rockers IBRIDOMA are back with their most recent release to add to their impressive 21 year back catalogue. "Norimberga 2.0" which, with Google's handy help seems to be a translation to Nuremberg... Make of that what you will, I can't really see anything at this stage, but maybe it will all become apparent later on. The artwork is bizarre, I mean I really cant seem to make heads or tails of what it is it is meant to be displaying...

Opening is "No Ho Visto Andare Via" and those meaty riffs will be sure to grab your attention from the get go. The disparity in styles between what I assume is the verse and chorus though really does make this track. But where it slightly falls for me is Christian's vocals, I just feel the style employed here is a little bit too soft to complement the musical style showed through the instrumentals (which I'm sure many will also disagree with me on); but with that being said it did grow on me, almost feeling a little bit MEGADETHy in places! The titular "Norimberga 2.0" shows a variety of styles and a completely different structural style than has been employed before, but it is very pleasant, with the powerful instrumentals really driving the track and a wonderful guitar break you can feel emotion permeating from every pore of this track.

With a name like "Coming Home" I had hoped that this would be a cheery and maybe even slightly uplifting track. And as it explodes to life I can feel that it is tending towards that a little bit, but there is a slightly unsure undertone to the whole track, as though it is trying to be both uplifting and emotional at the same time. But again, the guitar break is just so smooth and silky it washes against my headphones like a wave lapping at the coastline. "Pandemia" stood out to me (I'm going to assume this is something to do with pandemics...) if this was a hat tip to the previous couple of years it is both a great documentation of what happened but I would have hoped it could have been more chaotic, unsure - as that would have been more fitting perhaps, just my opinion.

Overall, this is another strong showing from IBRIDOMA, as we have really come to expect with their releases they show a maturity to their music that shines through everything else. The musicianship throughout was top quality and I know I originally said the vocals didn't sit right with me, but to be honest they grew on me over time, to the point I was quite enjoying it (really they help to make the distinguishable individual sound)
