Synteleia - The Secret Last Syllable album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: SYNTELEIA; signed via Floga Records, hailing from Greek grounds - performing Black Metal, on their sophomoric album entitled: "The Secret Last Syllable" (released May 14th, 2022). Since formation in 2015; the duo in question have a demo entitled: "Astral Blasphemies" (released November 2016), a split entitled: "The Ancient Calling" (released March 31st, 2021) and 2 full-length studio albums in their discography so far entitled: "Ending Of The Unknown Path" (released August 30th, 2019) amongst this here album of which I am introduced to entitled: "The Secret Last Syllable". 9 tracks ranging at around 40:36; SYNTELEIA arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Black Metal developments.

Opening up with this blistering but gnarly snarl of riff majesty; "Tower Of Koth" belts a clobbering foundation in bulldozing but dexterous calamity, implementing an amplified heft of shredding maliciousness & bestial barbarity. Harmonic scours of ripping melody savagely snarls with sinister upheaval, an infectiously killer laceration in grinding slays venomously showcases this organic substance of rampant remedy in a dark but bludgeoning hymn in flamboyant bleakness and blackened atmosphere. Symbolic retribution towers with nimble strife, where sturdy thuds & tight punchiness tramples speakers with wildly rushing distortion from audible instrumentalist Septis. This majestic prowess within "Emblem Of Yith" unleashes momentous yet sulfurous strikes that pursuit with piledriving pandemonium amongst a boisterously bouncy jolt of piercing riffs, ritualistic soars & roaring vocals from Nyctelios, bleeding out screaming raspiness while throaty gutturals distil a high-pitched cord with weighty yells that shout sinisterly with persevering divinity.

"Nymph Of The Pyramids Pt. 1 - The Reign" utilizes this mythical flute, charging into wrathful adrenaline in amplified archetypes of ominously jarring ruthlessness that forebodes fluidly with vehemently gothic furore and evil empowering but imperial heft. An archaic forcefield impactfully fabricates blasphemous chimes, while progressively technical rumbles reverberates eardrums immensely with radically wicked tremors & synthetic rebellion that procreates mesmerising cords in a distinctive outrè of panache that orchestrates with salubrious yet volatile solidity. Slabbing zeal wonders with prodigious yet operatic electricity, distinguished with sonically seamless flexibilities and fundamental catchiness as concrete but gritty tactics manifest with mountainous rawness - similarly profound within "Nymph Of The Pyramids Pt. 1 - The Curse".

This dynamic but brisk guitar agility attributes with profusely robust waves of spectral rampage while rambunctiously stompy meatiness haralds an immensely intense experience in enjoyable bombast that makes anyone go berserk, bellowing barks and thumpy stability synergises with rompy meatiness while monstrously vivacious mellow constructs an abominable stridency which tramples souls with mystifying malignance with sublime versatility on varied veraciousness. "Escaping Athereon" provides similar characteristics as ferocious firepower expertise that merge with the versatile symphony that marvels with other-worldly overarches on monolithic tempo & unearthly spellbinds of moody mayhem culminating instrumental choirs for good measure.

"Harvesting The Forest" forges a euphonic but melancholic synchronization on mellifluous stampedes & thrashy viscerality, morphin with rhapsodic flair amongst a experimental hybrid in vibrantly potent bombast in which steamrolls with enriching but all guns blazing viciousness. This firing all cylinders cathedral of torment segregates this rite of sacrilege and demonizing with rigorous vigour that frolics, gallops and chugs with skillful ramification. "Into The Abyss - A Passage To Insanity" spirals with wondrous chorale and quintessential virtuosity that brutally engages with systematic oppression and blitzkrieg mayhem, unleashing total ruthlessness amongst a chaotic assimilation in a grandiose grandeur of cutting edge Black Metal silver-lining.

The penultimate titular track also eviscerates with oblivion and beckoning atrocities in groundbreaking groove-bombs amongst an speedy velocity that provides ballistic demolishion that will make one want to break chairs over other chairs in no time; while the overall concluding epic "Omega-Alpha", I am compelled to say that SYNTELEIA most surely outdone themselves with proficient potential which was supplied with this talented discovery, as a borderline foundation in brusing but richly meticulous yet salubrious performances will totally possess you with replayable spins & impeccable musical masterclass that most definitely deserves checking out, do give "The Secret Last Syllable" a listen - it does wonders with this Black Metal subgenre greatly.
