INFERNAL HATE is a brutal death metal band that was formed in 2000 in the Canary Islands, Spain. Though formed in 2000, this marks just their forth full length album, and their first since Abicen Abora in 2011. Sven has started the band with a drummer, who quit just after 2003, in which Sven sought out other musicians to continue the project with. Both David and Monstro were playing in a band called TEN THOUSAND SUFFERINGS. They have released four singles in 2021, which also appear on this release.

The album begins with the track "Aprositus", and this track has a lot more melody in the music then you would find with a lot of extreme Death Metal. The vocals carry along well with the structure of the riffs and the music in general, and have a deep growl that carries over the music without keeping the band in the background. The drumming really lifts the intensity of the song and brings a thundering double bass. This song was a great choice to open off the album with. Next comes "Black Crows Over the Horizon" and with an almost marching beat you become pumped and ready for what is about to begin. You are then assaulted with some earth shattering drums that to some degree, catches you a bit of guard, and they are machine gun like until the completion of the song. Though I do feel the bass is a bit lacking in the song and could be amplified a little more. The song in general has a great feel to it and concludes with some nice Spanish guitar to end the song. "Ex Nihilo" translates to "out of nothing" and the bass seems to be a little more heard in this song as it powers along with the guitar, creating a great riff. The vocals are brought out in this some with a menacing force, and has good backing vocals by Monstro. The song is not so devastating when you're listening to it, but everything comes together in it, and it is oddly very powerful.

With the track "Lies Against Humanity" they really flip the switch from the previous song, as the tension builds in the first thirty seconds, only to unleash wrath for the remaining two minutes. It is the most brutal track on the album, especially leading up to this point, and it is a rager. Monstro seems to be decimating the kit, as if trying to render it to dust. It is an intense two minutes that you will not regret listening to. "Hidden Knife" is the song that stands out to me on the album, with an opening that is also ABBATH like, it feels and progresses through like a well written song. With a bit of a black metal riff as if not to dominate the song, you are then blasted with intensity, which Seven maintains with his screeching growl. A little guitar work that does not blow you away, but does match the tone and general feel to the song. The release finishes up with the track "Empirical Knowledge" is once again flooded with impressive drumming by Monstro right from the start. The double kick is in full effect for the entire five minutes of the song, with rolls thrown in at will with the utmost ease. Really impressed with what he can create. The bass is heard more so on this track then the rest of the album I find, but that may just be due to the structure of the riffs with guitar, but it sounds great. The track also features some soprano vocals that is a nice touch, just before the song finishes off with a crunchy riff.

It is a solid album all around, but it is really the drumming that takes the cake for me. Some songs feature an aggressively fast paced tempo that is held with ease, and can really carry some parts of the album. Seven seems to match his vocals to his guitar work well, as they seem to feed off of each other, and I think the bass is more toned down on some tracks then on others, but could be just how they wanted to present it in the tracks. Being the first full release in eleven years, there is much to be proud of with what they have put together.
