This Insidious Horror
Feed The Corpses To The Pigs
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: FEED THE CORPSES TO THE PIGS; signed via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions, hailing from the United States of America - performing Death/Black/Thrash Metal, on their debut album entitled: "This Insidious Horror" (released October 15th, 2021). Since formation in 2019; the quartet in question have only released an EP entitled "Anthology" (released October 25th, 2019) & this here debut album that I am introduced to entitled: "This Insidious Horror". 10 tracks ranging at around 32:36; FEED THE CORPSES TO THE PIGS arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Death/Black/Thrash Metal amalgamations.
Opening up with thìs disorienting array of static soundwaves; "Separate" unleashes a blistering barrage frenzy in rampantly rompy maelstrom finesse, bulldozing eardrums with monolithic mayhem and amplified adrenaline in a fierce laceration on killer bounciness amongst a boisterously bludgeoning agility on monstrously meaty manifestations that stampedes with malevolent yet speedy oppression. More deathly atmosphere begins within the next belter "Ghost Of Winter" featuring none other than DEATH / MASSACRE guitarist Rick Rozz who clobbers his axe with primitively raw pursuits that strike with trailblazing impact. It's brilliant how the merger of these sub-genres are implemented; there's the blackened and deadly aura of Black Metal, the brutal assimilation of Death Metal & the visceral momentum of Thrash Metal. All culminate very well here, and bombs with wildly rushing yet razor-sharp grooves for good measure that will make you want to break chairs over other chairs in no time.
"Jesus Is My Respirator" surges with rapidly swift nimbleness from consisting front man S. Fink who utilises these vibrantly potent rifts that scourges with trailblazing hooks and savagely sinister punchiness. An extreme aesthetic executes a hybrid density in sturdy tightness while thudding with dexterously dynamic bombast, skyrocketing with rampaging melody & solid yet riveting slabs of concretely gritty heft. "The Death Of Expertise" elements at uniquely versatile vehemence while profusely robust synergy revels with towering stability, as experimental jumpiness jolts with piledriving thumpiness while rummaging with slaying grinds and volatile remedy while sonically seamless revs thunderously inject an infectiously venomous technicality on progressively ruthless pandemonium that maliciously renegades with crust gnarly distortion, heavily reminding me of old school British Death Metal titans - CARCASS while stridently enforcing a complex boundary of their own signature sound of unrelenting crunchiness.
"Trapped Spirit" persists with a borderline foundation on chiselling harmony while B. Dierker on lead guitar generates some salubriously weighty rumbles that tremble with reverberating grumbles in which thumps out with melodic perseverance, not to forget Fink and his grovelling pipes which yell with shouty raspiness while throaty soars bark intensely with these guttural, blood soaked bellows that shriek with pugnacious aggression. "I Drink Myself To Death" begins with the rage and anger of abusing alcoholism, (as a healthy person, this surely is not the way to deal with certain problems) this seems to be the metalhead's gateway to hell, having been there; this resonates quite well with me, simply wanting to drink my problems away and chug til death until I pass out. This is one of those thrashy songs that smothers you with galloping frolics, and rollicking rambunctiousness. As hammering drummer E. Perea smacks the set with steely & stompy precision.
"The Ocean Sings of Murder" features Jelly from VOID DANCER - another meticulous slice of outbursting havoc, creating a drony but wrathful revelation on this sweltering synthesis on quintessential virtuosity & constructively diligent firepower expertise which unearths uproarious tonality amongst a bleeding bark of ruinious devastation in which rips with upheaval distinction and distinguished calamity. "Out Of Sync" is a choppy bruiser, as chaotic blitzkrieg distils a smouldering smudge of sludgy vehemence which rattles speakers with vicious malignancy while demolishing desegregation begs you to thrash til death. The penultimate banger "Flashpoint" drills with more momentous raze which embodies an evil empowering trigger of hostile conundrums in a spectral warfare of stampy malice - where organic substance relishes through with unique steadiness.
Overall concluding "This Insidious Horror" with the titular track itself; I am compelled to say that FEED THE CORPSES TO THE PIGS most surely outdone themselves with their debut album, it's filled with nothing but hateful exhilaration towards the struggles of the last political 2 years revolving around an oscillating crescendo amongst the masses of smug and greed that we all face on a daily basis. If you feel the same, this insidious fuel will portray within you too to unravel total destruction in the mosh pit - unleash that steam & roll with the piercing archetype of archaic but malformative retribution on rebellious hellfire among the top brass.
Bottom line; an enjoyable discovery that's surely worth spinning, replaying and beating to a good few times. An experience only battering headcases will relish in for sure, worthy of listening to - do check it out.
