WalDStreet is a two-piece band, conceived in 2018 that has seen those involved hone and master the sound of the group into this North and Eastern Fusion that we hear today. I'm guessing that you can see where the name for this EP has come from... The artwork for the cover also plays to this theme of a combination of the two cultures.

Opening the EP is the thoughtfully named "Northeast I". Instantly the themes and stylings adopted from influences is obvious. A plethora of oriental instruments accompany and compliment the soothing and smooth guitar line before a gentle and peaceful ending. Rolling into the imaginatively named "Northeast II" which continues with the aforementioned themes. In fact, the entire EP (minus the two bonus tracks) rolls together seamlessly, "Northeast I-V" all appear to be a continuation of the last with a very relaxing and enjoyable ride throughout.

Now, for the two bonus tracks. First, there is "Street Fantasy". Which appears to focus more on the light and airy guitar playing of Vladimir, with some accentuation from various other instruments and it is divine. A gentle and soothing tone allows the listener to fully relax and become engulfed by the music. The second bonus track, "Ritus" continues with the themes seen earlier in the album.

Overall, this is a very good album. The ritualistic aural experience is thoroughly enjoyable to listen to from start to finish. Glorious instrumental lines, accented with exceptional vocalisations throughout. I have no way of describing what genre, or sub genre this is, but I implore any fan of good music to go and give this a listen. Put your headphones on, sit back and enjoy the experience that you are about to experience.
