Since formation in 1978; the quintet in question have 17 Singles, 6 Live Albums; 2 Splits, 11 Compilations; 1 Demo, and 12 Studio Albums in their discography so far; I am introduced to their 12th album entitled: "Ritual", 11 tracks ranging at around 52:58... TYGERS OF PAN TANG arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Heavy Metal developments. "Worlds Apart" begins the record; conveying amplified adrenaline, boistrously bouncy haste & flamboyantly composed grooves execute electrifying energy. Forging harmonious hymns, fuelled into a barraged frenzy of dizzying melodies that manifest meticulous rhythms & a whirlwind of uniquely versatile vehemence. Embodying an upbeat ultility with wildly rushing remedies, concretely gnarly finesse & quintessential pursuits of profusely robust musicianship.

Consisting of Jacopo Meille on vocals; the frontman demonstrates clean, high-pitched pipes & lungs of rawly rough persistency. "Destiny" revolves around a crunchy fabrication of industrious instrumentation; creatively complex dexterity from guitar duo Robb Weir & Michael Crystal implementing dynamically blistering virtuosity with rapidly swift nimbleness while showcasing quirky snappiness that thunders with potent vibrancies. "Rescue Me" supplies meaty rhythms that injects infectiously immersive instrumentation detail from audible bassist Gav Gray who thumps with steely precision; razor-sharp raspiness, solidly pummelling with organic substance & speedy weight. "Raise Some Hell" embellishes on experimental shreds that roar with ripping outbursts of stampeding symphonies, transistioned with traditional yet modernized styles.

Craig Ellis on drums/percussion pounds the set with hammering catchiness; consistently battering into a dimension of hybridly rambunctious subtly, "Spoils Of War" relies on hook-laden riffs that keep you captivated & engaged while portraying sonically seamless solos that chug into a contagiously crystal-clear sound production proficiency. "White Lines" subjugates with salubriously strong rock overarchs that crafts creatively dextrous anthems, harnessing masterful panache & riveting styles that polish with progressively technical stabilities. "Words Cut Like Knifes" examines fluid momentum; primitively pulsating with gripping calibre, culminating an outrè of mellifluent yet punchline foundations – firepower & euphonic expertise. Contrasting a distinctively smooth systematic of rich talent, with tuneful silvery - with a dose of distorted frolicking for good measure.

"Damn You!" is a deadly belter; converging elegantly exquisite cords with striking savagery, variety & refreshingly original material that will remain memorable while having a humming grandure of grinding yet old-school songwriting vigour. "Love Will Find A Way" is a mid-tempo power ballad, assorted into fragments of radio-friendly combustion & while performing with venomously slick potential. "Art Of Noise" is another breakneck affair; excelled into a contaminating headbanger, charged into an epic incite of rowdy perseverence & uncompromised skill. Overall concluding "Ritual" with the prestigious finale called: "Sail On"; I can't help but say that TYGERS OF PAN TANG was most definitely a splendidly remarkably discovery, and makes me reminisce of when I first got into Heavy Metal - if you are this person today, these guys would be a great start.

Bottom line; if you are looking for extremely hostile music of a malevolent nature, you may want to pass this ritual... but "Dad Metal" fans and JUDAS PRIEST/MOTÖRHEAD/IRON MAIDEN etc will relish this flourishing invention - check it out.
