Each live track brings home the classic HELLOWEEN vibe and screams out "MOSH PIT"!  The screaming vocals bring this album to life along with the fast-paced guitars and drums and during the slower-paced tracks with gentle vocals. There are so many great tracks to listen out for on the album's 3 CDs; Opening the collection is the band's self titled song, "Helloween" - as fast and furious as they can, with over 30 years of experience behind them. Taking us on to the slower and more gentle pace, "Forever And One" is a more softly-played and sung song that screams power ballad. A truly inspiring song for the listener to sing along to. Other top tracks from the first CD include, "I'm Alive" - an epic piece with top shelf vocals. The second CD brings us such tracks as "Sole Survivor"  and, of course, "How Many Tears", a song to thrash to. With epic vocals, awesome lyrics and classic music to back it up, "United Alive In Madrid" is one of the better live albums you could come across. The third and shortest CD brings not more than 4 top tracks including "Kids Of The Century" and "Pumpkins United".

The well-written and equally well-produced "United Live In Madrid" is an album to brighten up your day when you've got a couple of hours music time. This an album that could end up in the classics section of any good collection and in my opinion, HELLOWEEN have outdone themselves with this album: lots or variety and good choice of songs. The fact that every song is performed live goes to show the raw power they hold as musicians. A sublimely put together album which should not be missed by any fan of the German metallers. "United Alive In Madrid" is one of HELLOWEEN's finer works, a fantastic compilation of the band's career in a stunning 3-disc album.
