Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: RIVAL SONS; signed via Earache Records, hailing from Long Beach, California - performing Rock 'N' Roll, on their 6th Studio Album entitled: "Feral Roots" (released January 25th, 2019).

Since formation in 2009; the quintet in question have 6 albums, and 1 EP in their discography so far. I am introduced to their 6th album entitled: "Feral Roots"; 11 tracks ranging at around 44:98, RIVAL SONSarrange an intricately designed formula of heavy-hitting Rock 'n' Roll developments. "Do Your Worst" begins the record; conveying amplified aesthetics, attributing concretely boistrous grit – demonstrating diligently composed anthems and a creative blend of crunchy characteristics in which inject infestious dosages of dominating grooves, fuelled with hardened hymns of harmonized haste. Amalgamating meticulous melodies, remedious rhythms and solid slabs of vehement versatility - ultilized with uniquely progressive technicalities that are prodegiously wonderous.

Consisting of Jay Buchananon vocals; the frontman distributes a consistently complex charge of clean pipes, high-pitched finesse and flamboyant flair in which excel with profusely robust songwriting ramifications. "Sugar On The Bone" captures captivating diversity; establishing conceptually dextrous efficiencies from guitarist Scott Holiday, experimenting a barraged frenzy of blistering riffs and solos that thunder with stampeding rampages - manifesting into inventively crafted dynamics. "Back In The Woods" contributes catchy memorability; lacerating ripping shreds that roar like lightning bolt blasts, pursuited with pummelling slams from powerhouse drummer Michael Mileyand audible bass elegance from Dave Beste- both culminate a forge of battering pounds that trigger with hammering precision.

Tracks like "Look Away" & the titular track implement distinctively distinguishable elements; contrasting constructive tempos, riveting rambunctiousness that's varied with virtuosic nimbleness and rapidly swift specialities that quake with quintessential qualities and tenacious techniques. "Too Bad" showcases more prestigious proficiencies; portraying musianship exquisities, embodying firepower and expertise - fabricating fluidly polished persistency that stomps with strong performances. "Stood By Me" excels a borderline foundation of enjoyably entertaining instrumentation; inventively juxtaposed with jumpy soundscapes, revolved components detail razor-sharp storms of remarkable results. Nothing exceptionally extreme here; an adroitly adimirable aesthetic of adept orchestration.

"Imperial Joy" generates euphonious efficaciousness; effectively fierce songwriting skills, with a hint of fuzziness for good measure. Fusing outrageously tight transistions; oozing ferocity, carnage and old-school rock with modernized shines - sonically transformed with seemlessly unparalled styles. "All Directions" angellically chimes with rich guitars; dreamy cords, blended beautifully into chugging gallops; mayhem, and vastly splendid rawness that rewards with radio-rock transfusions – unprecedented submersions and subjugated stabilty too. "End Of Forever" provides a punchline pack of traditional roots; victoriously glorious potential, and aforementioned prominence that explores dark domination converged blissfully into stunning relishments – organically supplying substantial symphonies and terrific substance.

Overall concluding "Feral Roots" with the epic finale: "Shooting Stars"; fulfilled with enlightening gospel-quire kind of vocalizations, portraying inspirational yet soulful systematics; I am compelled to say that the bottom line here is a bouncy band who certainly outdone themselves with this one, RIVAL SONSexplore enriched yet prolific superiorities that waves with meaty weight, ambient atmosphere and adept abilities - worth the time.<
