INSINERATEHYMN is Los Angeles based Death Metal band with an Old School Death Metal sound. The band formed in 2008 and later reformed in 2016. Finally in the winter of 2017 they sat down to record "A Moment In A Vision" which was released on March 29^th of 2018. This band is for fans of old DEICIDE and MORBID ANGEL. It honestly took me a few listens to get into but they are really good. Miguel on bass and Abraham on drums really blend together really well. Demitree and Frank on guitars really shine on the album. But by far the star of the show has to be Hugo on vocals. He has the Old School Gutterals on lock.

The first song "Enigmatic Voyage" honestly shows how most of the album is gonna be. If you enjoy this song, you will enjoy the whole album. The third song "Seeking Immortality" really reminds me of SUFFOCATION which is a big plus for me. And the solo in the song really kicks ass. Its a well formed head banger.

The fourth song is one that caught my attention because you don't really hear a lot of songs like it on Old School Death Metal albums. "A Moment In A Vision" is an entirely acoustic song and its honestly really beautiful. It makes me happy when bands pull things like this out of nowhere and I have the upmost respect for things like this.

"Terminal Existence" has more of a thrashy feel than the previous songs. It is one of my favorites off the album. It's like SLAYER and DEATH got together and pumped out a love child. It really stood out from the rest of the songs and once again the solo was sick! BY FAR my favorite song is "Putrid Hordes" this is the most aggressive song on the album. And the double kicker was phenomenal! The whole album is really good especially if you're into the Old style of Death Metal. And if you are go check this one out!
