One more band from Italy's Punishment 18 Records and... surprise surprise! It is a Thrash Metal band again! It seems that this label specializes in the specific Metal genre (what a discovery). It is kind of obvious that I don't know what to write as an intro, huh? Ok then, I don't want to make you get bored. Let's get straight to the point.
The Italian (what a surprise) Thrash Metal act was born in 2000 and has released two demos (or EP's, I don't really know what they are) and as it seems they think they are well known since they didn't bother to post their biography in English in their Myspace page. After all, everyone knows Italian!
Even though this is considered to be their debut full-length release, I think it is more like a best of compilation, since it contains almost every song from their first two releases (demo or EP) plus some previously unreleased tracks. Either way it seems a release with no interest at all. Do you want to know the reason why? Because the production is not the best possible, many riffs will remind you of other bands (listen to the opening riff in Seasons Of Your Destiny for instance) and I have definitely heard much better vocals in the Thrash Metal scene. The only way I could describe this release (if we suppose it is a full-length album) is uninspired and boring.
There are much better stuff to check out when it comes to Thrash Metal and BRAIN DEAD do not belong to them. And then you wonder why Thrash Metal slowly dies...
