W.R.A.T.H.
Antigod
Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: ANTIGOD; signed via Metalgate Records, hailing from the Czeck of Republic - performing Death/Thrash Metal, on their 3rd album entitled "W.R.A.T.H." (released on May 31st, 2018).
Since formation in 2012; the quintet in question have 2 albums behind them, I am introduced to their 3rd album entitled: "W.R.A.T.H.". 13 tracks ranging at around 28:98; the quintet in question arrange an intricately designed formula of hard-hitting Death/Thrash Metal amalgamations, starting off with the cryptic introduction with "Evacuate" - the band deliver a concrete slab of solidly distinctive executions. When "Iron" comes into play; this is where the chaotic mayhem ensues, conveying mostly Thrash Metal more so than Death Metal with a slight culmimation of the coverged sub-genres - ANTIGOD demonstrate battering rampages of relentlessly blistering assaults, distributing gritty flamboyancy and raw ramifications. This band is energetically furious, ripping and shredding with profusely robust savagery.
Consisting of Tomáš "Chymus" Hanzl on vocals; the frontman attributes an aesthetic with growling and guttural pipes, which are injected with a deadly development of rough and sinister stability. "Panzertrain" comes into play with a granidose manifestation of menancing maliciousness; one thing to note is all songs range from the 3-4 minute mark, and from my point of view - so far the record is a consistently deadly killer. Complex, dextrous guitar duo Pedy & Yabback embellish on feircely furocious riffs and solos in songs like "Steamgod" & "Close". There is an organic substance of dynamically diverse variety, creatively crafting diligent composing adroitness which hammer with thunderously explosive contrast - efficiently grooving with catchy, jumpy thumps of fluidly detailed and polished results.
Powerhouse drummer Ferenc 777 pounds his kit with bouncy, and crunchy proficiencies. "Siberia" showcases progressively technical elements; which implement immaculate audibility, unleashing that salubrious adrenaline rush that most of us crave. "Volunteers" continues the onslaught of non-compromising designs of meticulous and melodious heaviness, the speedy rhythms persistently become more banging in "Orders". ANTIGOD amplify boistrous experimentations, providing rambunctious stamina and distinguished construction that supplies uniquely unprecedented vehemence. "Wrath" is in the title; a battle hardened track with aggressive harmonies which rapidly swifts with nimble hostility, "Frontline" frantically has similar characteristics with sonically stampeding stomps.
Proceeding to "Revolt"; ANTIGOD excel with more devilish orchestrations as the musicianship and instrumentation captivate with an enjoyably entertaining experience, "Battalion" elegantly pulverizes eardrums with exquisitely punishing contributions while the overall concluding track "Casualties" completes "W.R.A.T.H." with finesse and an all round epic finale.
Bottom line; while "W.R.A.T.H." is short is it most definitely volatile, the borderline foundation is full of punchline grooves and racing intensity - as ANTIGOD certainly outdone themselves with this one, do check it out.<
