Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: EKTOMORF; signed via AFM Records, hailing from the glory of Germany - performing Thrash Metal, on their 1^st Live album entitled: "Warpath (Live And Life On The Road)" (released 25^th August, 2017).

Since formation in 1994, the quintet in question have 9 studio albums behind them, I'm introduced to their debut live album "Warpath (Live And Life On The Road)". 11 thrashing tracks; ranging at around 44:06, the quartet delivers a solid slab of intricately designed manifestations of hard-hitting Metal delicacies. Opening with "Aggressor", I immediately notice a slight SLIPKNOT influence – amalgamated with a groovy SOULFLY aesthetic; if you hadn't noticed by EKTOMORF's band logo, you can see that the artwork is slightly similar. Zoltán Farkas on guitar/vocals showcases complex dexterity as the vocalist provides raspy vocalization, with crunchy punch lines in the riffs, which explode with savagely primitive results. "Move On" made me want to JUMP THE FUCK UP in a stimulating bounce that pounds the soul with power, powerhouse drummer Róbert Jaksa pummels his pedals and steel with sinister results.

Consisting of powerhouse bassist Szabi Murvai, the nimble thrasher constructs a consistent tone of barbaric proportions. "Holocaust" is a massive track which arranges blistering solos which contrasts with proficient harmonics and stellar breakdowns in which makes me want to get into the pit, and go berserk in a maddening frenzy - the songwriting and sound production are both equally dominant and organic, developing a menacing formula of unforgettable melodies and sophisticated characteristics which destroy everything into nothingness. "Black Flag" balances the rift with more destructive rhythms; relentless velocity and immense, earthshaking grooves. Progressively experimental elements shroud "Evil By Nature", supplying more gargantuan brutality - displaying distinctive technicalities that profusely demonstrates diverse varieties of all things Metal, deadly and raw executions pound the body with energetic persistence.

"United Nations" featured bouncing mechanics as EKTOMORF contributed a sufficient amount of crowd-pleasing vigor, there is an undeniable diversity in the orchestrations which stem a versatile adaptation of viciously chaotic contraptions. "Leech" needs no explanation, as this describes the society we live in today - with motivating thumping grooves that just excel with salubrious effects. "Fuck You All" is an all-round crushingly manic tune, compiling more energizing remorse which flourishes with thunderous smacks of monstrous adversities - it's a great tune to unleash your anger out on in your daily troubles. "I Know Them" varies with a vulgar display of intensities that positively invigorates the listener to go mental. "Warpath (Live And Life On The Road)" is a massive record, and concluding it with the final track "Outcast" which is another brilliant live song - I'll just end it here by saying go out and check this beast out now.<
