Metal maniacs, rejoice! The Thrasher returns to present to you: THRASH BOMBZ; signed via Iron Shield Records, hailing from Italian grounds - performing Thrash Metal, on their 2nd album entitled "Master Of The Dead" (released March 3rd, 2017).
Since formation in 2007; the quintet in question have 1 album behind them: "Mission Of Blood", I'm introduced to their 2nd deliverance: "Master Of The Dead". 10 thrashing tracks, ranging at around 53:11 - THRASH BOMBZ incorporate a passively aggressive sound that with the opening track "Condemned To Kill Again", showcases a distinct formula of ferocious instrumentation and savagely untamed musicianship. There are distinguishable elements of unprecedented features provided here that one would be considered injudicious if the following solos and impeccable riffs don't stimulate an insatiable groove in you, this is evident in the next track "Ritual Violence" as the beginning forms the very definition of groovy grandness. "Evil Witches" gets more melodically elegant as rhythm & lead guitarists Giuseppe "UR" Peri & Salvatore "Skizzo" Li Causi unleashes some insanely complex riffs that supplies for exquisitely sufficient dexterity.
Consisting of vocalist Tony "Stormer" Frenda; the frontman composes a slightly indifferent characteristic to that of DEATH ANGEL's Rob Cavestany, by the time the 4th song comes in "Curse Of The Priest" - this comes into full effect as he develops an ingenious imitation of aforementioned vocalist, this influence builds a grandiose of perfect mimicry and formulaic complexion. Powerhouse drummer Salvatore "Trronu" Morreale, demonstrates furiously galloping leaps in his contributions to this solid slab of proficient Thrash Metal, "Black Steel" evidently provides this as the slammer pummels his set to the ground - efficiently, contriving in an organic aesthetic of persisting substance as the songwriting grows ever more prominently and diligently grabs you in a captivating grip of rip-soaring air-guitar mayhem. "Taken By Force" progressively advances more adept craftsmanship, dominating you to hellishly groovy invigoration.
"Master Of The Dead" begins with a slower opening, an enlightening acoustic segment until more thrashing chaos emerges. The sound production also makes this release adequately memorable and original, as the havoc wreaks with fulfilling attributes, enhancing this experience with beneficial results. "Evoking The Ghost" is another crushing epic, the madness diversifies with no filler but all thriller. More ear-splitting solos that vary to low/mid/high-tempo equalities and hardening double kicks, filled with energetic gusto. "The Avenger" would be considered the "pounder" song, overflowing with sinister executions...delivering a final blow to the concluding song "Call Of Death". Overall – THRASH BOMBZ excelled themselves with "Master Of The Dead", the record is full of excitingly relentless surprises, thunderous devastation & uncompromising barrages of brutality.
This is the record all thrashing brethren NEED to listen to, if you're fans of EXODUS, DEATH ANGEL, and HAVOK - this is certainly the record of the year for you. Have at it, and listen to the full record in its entirety via YouTube in the embedded link. Enjoy, and see if you agree.
