Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: CRYONIC TEMPLE; signed via Scarlet Records, hailing from Swedish grounds - performing Power Metal, on their 5th album entitled "Into The Glorious Battle". (Released April 21st, 2017)

Since formation in 1996; the quintet in question have 4 albums behind them, I'm introduced to their 5th entitled: "Into The Glorious Battle". I have a great relationship with Power Metal, and this new unprecedented discovery is no exception. Consisting of 14 extensive tracks; ranging at around 1:01:36 long, opening with the solid introductory track "Beginning Of A New Era" - "Man Of A Thousand Faces" kicks in, a brief orchestral element begins this one with rapidly captivating riffs and an excelling vocal range from Mattias L. also formulating pianist requirements, the man contributes a delightfully intriguing distinction in his work. "All The Kingsman" showcased a slight influence from SABATON and Joakim Brodén, only briefly, but still worth noting. Starting off with a nice, acoustic melody - the lightning speed, and complex dexterous riffs from Esa. A & Markus G. takes over, making this a more traditional Power Metal great.

"Prepare For War" is a mid-paced melodic epic in which speeds up rapidly with an elegant fulfillment of Power Metal intricacy, melodic attributes abound, compiled with exquisite leads and well-constructed chorus'. The powerhouse from Roland W. on bass and backing vocals and Micke "Rapid Fire" D. on drums craft an enlightening sound production while balancing a succulent formulaic of Power Metal grace. The softer ballad, "Heroes Of The Day", provides a tuned down tempo and an organic aesthetic of original and a memorable substance, the songwriting is dramatic yet is still powerfully adapt for a thrilling listen. "Mighty Eagle" picks up the pace with more furiously galloping leaps of crushing, melodic arrangements and stimulating enticements. So far, CRYONIC TEMPLE excelled themselves with a delicately produced epic...efficiently bestowing sufficient amounts of admirable excellence.

The titular track emphasizes on providing a classic Power Metal sounding with intensely pummeling proficiency, "The Speech" is a .54s break, while leaping into the speedy, yet indifferently simplistic feel with "Mean Streak". This one could be mistaken for a cover song, as the melodic adaption is unattended, still a highly enjoyable track where the lyric "saved by the bell" overtakes for a upbeat mood. "Flying Over The Snowy Fields" organizes more relishing speed and powerful elegance, "Can't Stop The Heat" shows off a calmer aptitude as it ascends into more speediness and flair with finesse. "This War Is Useless" is another divine ballad, with symphonic elements, while "Heavy Burden" constructs an unparalleled adroitness and energetic knack. Concluding with the 7:55s track, "Freedom", which is sure to be a classic Live favorite.

Overall - I enjoyed a solid slab of consistently developed Power Metal, each member contrive in skill and stem with graceful characteristics in providing greatness, at first I went in with medium expectations...those were met with a higher impression. Certainly a record to look out for.<
