Formed in 2015; the quintet in question bring forth their debut deliverance of hard-hitting traditional Heavy Metal, only 1 year in creation comes "The Great Void Of Mystery". 9 epic tracks ranging at around 45:21 consists of Heavy Metal that has similarities to that of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal attributions, while distinctively upholding a unique flare of the American characteristics in one destructive package. We begin with "Born In Fire"; a solid slab of pummeling Metal surrounds my eardrums with elegant force, epic songwriting and sound production distribute an enlightening and exquisitely fulfilling headbang – implementing a heavily atmospheric while fusing an influential element of JUDAS PRIEST/IRON MAIDEN indifferences generate excelling instrumentation and musicianship abundantly; while being intricately original and memorable in their own unique way.

Julio Viterbo showcases a complexly satisfactory dexterous distinction in his contributions at furiously speedy riffs on both all guitars and bass, efficiently showcasing a broad design where even the bass can be heard which I find to be unprecedented a lot of the time. Sufficiently composing an organically captivating performance from the crushing Oscar Clorio on drums efficaciously provides a solidified crushing aesthetic; substantially flourishing a delicately formed substance profusely. And Nick Hernandez on vocals formulates magnificently sung high-pitched cords; while keeping it ingeniously brutal with blood in his voice. Songs like "Where The Ravens Fly Free", "Thunder Of The Guns" & "Ritual Site" splendidly show off the trio's hard work in keeping the traditional in Heavy Metal very much alive...that says Heavy Metal is dead, huh? (looking at you, Gene Simmons).

"Witches Pray", "Reaper In Wait" & "The Exile" constructively extends this already impressive experience and ascends the aforementioned with collectively merit-able achievements and balances galloping exerts for a productive stimulation in the process... Concluding "The Great Void Of Mystery" with "Endless Fire" overall compels me to say that I am so damn glad that HEAVENS DECAY are keeping the Heavy Metal spark alive with this here product; this had me air-guitaring, headbanging and enjoying diligently to this epic and unparalleled experience. All songs were finalized via the internet and my only gripe would have to be that the guitars were a little too low for me; I heard them, only they were overhauled with the other instrumentation...just a minor gripe - as I was enticing in a stellar Heavy Metal occurrence.
