Metal maniacs, rejoice! The Thrasher returns to present to you: SHEIDIM; signed via Dark Descent Records, hailing from Spain - performing Black/Death Metal, and on their debut album entitled: "Shrines Of The Void".

Since formation in 2012; the quintet in question have only 1 EP behind them: "Amidst the Ashes of Consciousness / In the Light of the Dying Stars" (released in 2015). On June 24th, 2016 - "Shrines Of The Void" unveils; a joint combination of Blackened Death Metal fuses together once more. Evidently speaking; this fusion is elegantly balanced as I listen through the first few tracks: "First Poison", "Shrines Of The Void" & "Deviant Kingdom". A healthy sound production full of prominent musicianship and fulfilling creativity, excels with a clean mixing/mastering and some proficient self-editing that sounds truly pummeling; at least in my point of view. What we have here is a quartet who showcases the original essence of extremity that intentionally fulfills the sub-genre's ethos in nature. Exquisite songwriting mixed with a memorable yet original intake provides for a raw and solidified sense of brutality envisioned.

A.K. on vocals does a stellar job of agonizing black screams that would seem frightening to the casual. Filled with complex instrumentation from C.S. on guitars, adapts at dexterity in his riffing that doesn't exactly squash the dynamical atmosphere of unprecedented qualities but better yet, balances everything in place for that skillful performance in the rhythmic sections. Similarly profound from the powerhouse that is A.T. on bass and J.F. on drums; efficiently delivering stunning presentation of experimentation. 7 tracks compile this album and ranging at around 37:59 relentlessly executes each song with a WATAIN-esque sense of comparison; profusely demonstrating commitments to elevate their technicality in which immeasurably emits a captivating listen. Consistently contributing to the sub-genres is a prime attribute to pulling in interested audiences - and SHEIDIM does just that.

Other songs like "Sunken Nigredo", "Amirita" & "Without Reins" differentiate with transformed yet evolved solos, which switch tempos that showcase true musicianship effort. Experimental yet delirious leads intertwined into a tribal, rhythmic experience. These are, quite possibly, the best qualities you could ever want in metal. "Remnants" closes the album with the aforementioned and more; I personally had a blast (beat) while jamming to "Shrines Of The Void"; it's one of those listens that potentially gets better with every shot. The uncanny fusion of Blackened Death Metal here is a well-produced machine that executes every abominated riff with stunning proficiency; blowing my mind in the process. SHEIDIM prominently excel themselves at contributing to the sub-genres with great excellence; if you are looking for a new band with some unprecedented discoveries, do yourself a favor and check them out for free on their Bandcamp.<
