Hollow - Mordrake album cover

As part of METAL TEMPLE magazine campaign devoted for aiding the promotion of upcoming / unsigned bands, we bring you HOLLOW.

Hailing from Montreal, QC, HOLLOW are venturing into the realms of the Melodic Death Metal, influenced but giants like EMPEROR, SKELETONWITCH and many others. HOLLOW released their debut album "Mordrake" into this crumped genre.

HOLLOW's album "Mordrake" comes packed with twelve tracks and has an impressive 52:53 length , that's value for money in my book .

There are times that you encounter Metal that redefine the Metal genre, it's not the case with HOLLOW album "Mordrake", however if I will need to choose an album that you can really call Metal album I will name "Mordrake" as one of them. This is a 52 minutes (almost 53) of a Metal storm that resembles a Blitzkrieg War; fast, no remorse and the only thing to do is kill them all. However in our case it's to make real metal album with no inhibition and I think that HOLLOW did it.

The twelve tracks album has at least 4 songs that probably will go into the Death Metal pantheon, these are; " Hate ", " Landscape" , " Cryptic Howling" and the unforgeable "Iscariot".

Remember what it wrote. HOLLOW album "Mordrake" is Metal of the Metal , if you remember the Canadian band STEPPENWOLF  from late 60's , they have the classic song , "Born To Be Wild" , there they defined the term Metal. Please remember that it's says "Heavy metal thunder" and that's what HOLLOW album "Mordrake" is, Heavy metal thunder or should I say Metal of the Metal Thunder.
