Well, well, the great MEFISTO one of the first extreme Metal band to appear in Sweden, perhaps too extreme for its time where people were not prepared for these three maniacs, wild as it can be. BATHORY for sure is one of the greatest band to come from Sweden, but MEFISTO for sure with all due respect for BATHORY kicked mores asses than anybody else ever did and thereby giving the Swedish scene its mark to be followed by many bands indeed.

Vic Records have just released a compilation entitled "Megalomania Puzzle" a must have for all lovers of extreme music, old school sounding at its best, basically you have both demos in this album "Megalomania" and "Puzzle" with a better sound quality, Roberto, Omar and Sandro make all hell break loose. excellent vocals, guitars with killer solos definitely a master piece, awesome stuff, I just wish more bands like MEFISTO would come to life, now days lots of Pop Metal and Mainstream shit bands appears in the scene all the time, bands caring too much about their looks and forgetting about the essence, posers must die hail MEFISTO the cult lives on!
