I'm just going to come right out and say this; Triverse Massacre is a really great band name!

This EP, 'With Bared Teeth And Truths' is the second EP released from the United Kingdom Deathcore/Metalcore troupe. It's a fairly short release but definitely not short on the ear-splitting screams, shredding and pounding bass. The vocals range from the pig squeals and this weird inward singing style to the straight up core screams.

The music has a ton of energy but the sound of TRIVERSE MASSACRE isn't nearly as original as their namesake. This isn't exactly a step in any direction as far as innovation. It's easily enjoyable for fans of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and JOB FOR A COWBOY but for listeners who need something more than catchy and refreshing, I'd look the other way if I were you. There are far too many "br00tal" breakdowns for me to take this EP very seriously.

It's certainly something that sounds like if SUICIDE SILENCE, WHITECHAPEL and WAKING THE CADAVER. If you are already into those bands (i.e. not me) you can probably find TRIVERSE MASSACRE a way better fit for you. I would also recommend you check out the bands CADAVYRNE, ARSIS and VITAL REMAINS, all of whom sound similar to TRIVERSE MASSACRE.
