KRUK is Hard Rock band from Dąbrowa Górnicza in Poland formed in 2001. The band has released albums: "Memories" (with Grzegorz Kupczyk) in 2006, "Before He'll Kill You" in 2009, "It Will Not Come Back" in 2011, "Be3" in 2012. Recently Metal Mind Productions released a reissue of album "Before He'll Kill You" with 3 bonus tracks.

"Lady Chameleon" opening the album, showing the true nature of vintage Hard Rock with a flavor of Hammond keyboards besides powerful vocals and an impressive lead guitar solo. "Be a Dream" takes KRUK into the veils of the 80's, melodic Rockin track with a tight groove and fine Keyboards' work that shares a close reminder to early works of WHITESNAKE, DEEP PURPLE and BLACK SABBATH. One has to like the chorus that is sticky, and of course the vocal performance equally divine. "Dream Just A Dream" explores melody even further, especially with the guitars and keyboards, a killer tune showing the musician's quality. "The Guillotine" inspiring of a 70's spirit with a tremendous ambience, clearly different than the soothing balladry of ballad "Reality (It's A Foolish Cry)" inhabiting URIAH HEEP type echoes. "Before He'll Kill You" established itself as a cruncher Rocker, easy to find BLACK SABBATH orientations from within, a straight up shot in the head. "The Escape" is so memorable with power riffs and "Out Of The Body" inflicting the heritages of DIO and KISS. "Paranormal Power Lasts" changing the climate into heavier riffing with creepy piano deliveries in the vein of KING DIAMOND yet with squint of SCORPIONS. "Knocking At Your Back Door ", a courageous cover of DEEP PURPLE well played and performed.

When it comes to Hard Rock, KRUK are the Polish masters, a true version of the British invasion. The remastering work on the album is divine alongside the small presents left behind. I believe that any fan of Hard Rock surely will find himself enjoying the sounds of the Polish Rockers. Be sure to grab yourself a copy of this reissued legend.
