STATEMENT is a Hard Rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark formed in 2011 and just this month will be releasing their debut album called "Monsters". Apparently experienced musicians from the Danish Metal scene joined forces for the fulfillment of this institution.
"Kill The Times", serving as the album's intro, provides a perfect introduction for the upcoming flamboyance. "Monsters" sinks in the gallows with powerful riffery, added with a Rock 'N' Roll sensation attributed by Lemmy joined with Hetfield kind of vocals. "Control" strikes with energetic charging riffs, memorable chorus and an impressive solo to sink your teeth in. "Say Hallo" conveys a mixture feel of 80's SCORPIONS with a certain gloominess that might be suitable for BLACK SABBATH, think of a smack of 80's Hard Rock with skids of Metal, catchy as it could be, commercial type. "Childhood Dreams" explores a similar vibe, yet actually began like earlier METALLICA ballads until all hell came crushing down with rapid drumming, thrashed up guitaring and soaring vocals. "Keep You Alive" hails toward modernized Groove Metal, a hardened kick in the teeth, characterized by low end guitars riffs in the vein of PANTERA with Hetfield influences on the vocals, yet notwithstanding employing also Stoner Metal echoes. The same stoned vibration goes within "Dropzone" as well along with Punked up vocals al'a Bryan Holland (THE OFFSPRING), and 80's SCORPIONS inclinations. "Need to know" has within many modern patterns, such patterns that went along fine with symphonic elements on "Another Stage". "Crawling" charms like yet another Glamish power ballad, displaying acoustic guitars and violins. Epic sounds caressed "To Be A Man", which could have easily been a GUNS 'N' ROSES tune.
There is much to find within this band's debut album, tick and tacks of LED ZEPPELIN, SCORPIONS, METALLICA or BLACK SABBATH. STATEMENT's music can easily be a worldwide shindig of Rock and Metal. Believe me, STATEMENT will be loud everywhere soon.
