With the new dematerialized / digital only music trend and the new direction of the music publishing market, the EP format, is on the hype and cool again, and it's a wise move for a new band in order to introduce themselves to the world like that... Snow surfing upon this strategy here is "Fool To Be Cool" by the new kings of Frozen Power Metal from mighty Finland.
JACK THE FROST (named after a Nordic Mythological character or a slasher B-Movie) is a brand new band formed by ex-members of famous acts in the underground, such as ALTARIA / REQUIEM and SILENT VOICES, the birth occurred right after an exceptional show where they played the full HELLOWEEN's "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II", so now I believe that you'll figure easy what kind of Scandinavian Metal they play: Fast / Melodic with intense guitar work / impressive blazing double kick pace enhanced with high pitched lead vocals like early STRATOVARIUS / GAMMA RAY / EDGUY & co.
The expectations for a full-length album, if they take the same musical path of course- will be sky high on my side at least.
