Credited with being the first Triple Axe Attack in Metal history LEATHERWOLF was formed in 1981 releasing only five studio albums in its existence and now they return with "Unchained Live", their first release since 2007's "New World Asylum".

Featuring songs from all their albums, including their last one, "Unchained Live" presents a veteran heavy metal band at the top of their game with great melodies and harmonies and not to mention the great vocals of Michael Olivieri, who strangely reminded me a lot of Dave Mustaine's voice.

"Unchained Live" is a great appetizer for fans of the band that are waiting for their new record or for new fans such as myself to get acquainted with such an amazingly underrated band.
