FALLEN JOY is a Melodic Death Metal band, founded in 2008 in Paris, France. To date the band released "Order To Die", an EP back in 2010, and in 2013 debut album worldwide "Inner Supremacy". "Hymn to Silent Soldiers" swept me away with its fast paced drumming, well done vocals and highly catchy melodic guitaring. "Destroying Fate" continues the rapid skinning, screaming for vengeance with agonizing vocals and a hell of melodic riffery. "Breaking the Light" sounded cheerful for a reason, a little on the Power Metal end. "Circle of Illusion" is a masterpiece, awesome bass work and memorable riffs, a bit on the proximity of CREMATORY, quite atmospheric. "When the Sun Dies" delivers the band's utmost passion for melodic extreme Metal, headbanging with no end to this one, damn my neck hurts. Also wroth to listen are: powerful track "Hold the Final Breath" grasping IN FLAMES providing a kick-ass & motivation to life and "War of the Undead" caressing with well written riffs. FALLEN JOY's new album is highly recommend for every Metalhead who wants to listen to true early 90's Melodic Death Metal al'a SOILWORK, CEMENTERY, IN FLAMES, no one wouldn't be disenchanted by this album.
