Lost Breed - The Evil In You And Me (Reissue) album cover

LOST BREED is an American band formed in 1987 and released two records back in the 90's and that are now being re-released through Shadow Kingdom Records. LOST BREED plays Doom Metal in the veins of SAINT VITUS and THE OBSESSED, which is not a big surprise since Wino Weinrich, lead vocalist in those two bands, also played in LOST BREED's first demo.

"The Evil In You And Me" is the band's debut album and the heaviest of both records with some hints of MOTÖRHEAD in there, especially in the vocalist that has a Lemmy-esque type of voice... think of this album as MOTÖRHEAD meets SAINT VITUS. The album features some great musicianship, it is obvious the ability that this guys have, the main problem however is the vocalist, his voice is a bit unusual and takes a while to get used to.

Although, not necessarily all that remarkable or exceptional, "The Evil in You and Me" is an enjoyable record.
