Subterranean Steel
Scythe

A fusion, two unique Metal subgenres in one band, great isn't it? Thrash and Black Metal in the same track is something that can be considered as promising. SCYTHE unleashes one of the most epic albums, under their law, "Subterranean Steel".
"Subterranean Steel", as a high quality mixture of Black and Thrash, has an exceptional vibe following the vocals, riffs, and drums, just being there, holding their ground tightly, without a shred of mercy, just pure slaying on every bit of a song.
Rick Scythe's vocals are amazing, his voice cannot be ignored. Similar can be told about his riffs and incredible soloing efforts. Establishing quite a voice along with guitar skills, that is quite a thing to be reckoned of. Joey Contreras is a beast on the drums, a showmanship act. Along with Dan Geist, this rhythm section is near perfect. It's all about chemistry and they got it all right.
The "Subterranean Steel" title reminded me of the famous Thrash Metal intro emblem of METALLICA's "Enter Sandman". I consider it to be one of the best intros of all time. Primitive Reaction seemed to have stumbled upon an epic endeavor that might do them good in the future.
Hope to hear more of SCYTHE in the future, because they are the best of what they do really.
