Danish trio MUSHROOM CLOUD (not to be mistaken for Japanese Pop Indie acoustic singer by the same name (admit it, you never saw that one coming)) was founded in 2008 by guitarist Dmitriy Mukjamedov and drummer Simon Kristensen, about a year later, line up was completed with vocalist Morten Thoft Langerhuus. Few demos, and more than few gigs later, they come presenting their first full length album "In Mad Minute", mixed and mastered by the Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios where the album has been recorded.

If you`re looking for boost of energy, then first full length release of MUSHROOM CLOUD is made for you. Though it opens slowly, the guitar finger-picking "Time To Shine" soon turns into the explosion of sound that lasts till "No Escape" that`s closing the album. There`s just no way you can escape highly technical melodic riffs, solos, clean melodic passages, catchy choruses and fast and thunderous drumming (best seen (or better say heard) in "Bipolar") along with brutal vs. clean vocals of Langerhuus.

Track after track the powerful music just keeps coming. Violent guitars, catchy bass lines and drums that are keeping the beat alive is to be expected "In Mad Minute". Perfectly combined growling and pure vocals Morten Thoft Langerhuus makes tracks like "Purifire" quite a treat, along with amazing solos by Dmitriy Mukjamedov that can be found in tracks like "Needles Fight", that are perfectly combined with bit slower rhythm and amazing guitar riffs into a story about struggle with inner demons, and "Final Cut (Apple Pie)" that irresistibly reminds of SYSTEM OF A DOWN.

The sound varies from heavy and almost depressing to full burst of rage and anger. And all of that can happen within one song. "In Mad Minute" is one minute short of being forty-five minutes long emotionally induced wild melodic Thrash / Death Metal ride.
