NITROVOLT is band from Köln, Germany founded in 2004 by vocalist / guitarist Tom "Voltage" Krämer and bass player Luciano "Louis" Vanini. Their debut album "Rock N' Roll Commando" in 2011 and just a little while ago "Pänzer" was released.

"Born To Love", in my opinion, has various riffs in the spirit of both Speed Metal and Hard Rock ventures. The energies and catchiness of the music implied of earlier version of SCORPIONS. On "Going Down" the octave riffing and vocal attributes shared quite a similarity to the American Punksters of THE OFFSPRING. "Get Rid" is a catchy number, feels like an alcoholic consortium, but with good company. I know a Polish band named PIZZA ŁOMOT that has a thing or two in common with this effort. "Lie To You" is a Rock N' Roller, AC/DC driven machine, great vibe of the vintage Hard Rock, exponent soloing. "Hail Hail" is another fine example of great fusion of Rock, Metal and Punk with great melodic hinters.

"Pay The Price" is a Punk driven madness, especially with the manic drumming, the guitaring sounded to me like something derived from MOTORHEAD. The riffs are kind of simple, nothing too demanding with a nice solo attached. "Twisted Shot Of Booze" has a great opening intro, kind of Punky, the chorus is a joint effort of great singing, a memorable track and pretty smooth all the way.

Others worth listening are "Hardröck Queen" assembled by cool drums and Rock like riffing with great rhythm with Blues orientation. "Rock It Out" pumping it fast, with full of power and vigor, Punk mixed with dirty Rock N' Roll and dozens of melodic features similar to AIRBOURNE / AC/DC.

Though being catchy, after a while this album can be a little tiring, yet still I recommend it as it would be probably perceived differently by you guys. NITROVOLT are chopping like MOTORHEAD, AIRBOURNE, AC/DC and deflecting with dirty Rock N' Roll with fresh and energetic Punk echoes.
