I think that this review is meaningless. SPIRITUAL BEGGARS' new album, "Earth Blues", is a masterpiece. All which I wrote in the upcoming review will probably damage the experience. But please read on.
No interdiction here, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS are Swedish classic Rock juggernaut, "gathering the best of the Classic Rock, melodic Stoner / Doom Metal and 70s Hard Rock genres, but also stresses the untamed joy and positive energy ever-present throughout the creation of this album". This passage is taken from the official PR of the band, it's the only time I couldn't write something better than the PR itself, read again in order to better understand what SPIRITUAL BEGGARS and if you read it again probably you are on the wrong plant try and go to an asylum.
I will not go into band lineup changes because SPIRITUAL BEGGARS had many lineup changes in the past 21 years they have been existing. However from 2010, Apollo Papathanasio came upfront to the important vocalist position replacing the amazing and massive Janne JB Christoffersson, also known for his work at the fucking awesome GRAND MAGUS, Apollo Papathanasio does deliver, btw if the name is known it is because Apollo Papathanasio also fronts FIREWIND. Everything in the album is top notch, riffing, drums, bass keyboard and the vocals are Ace, and sorry I forgot to mention the amazing production. Beware, "Earth Blues" isn't a Stoner album, albums prior to 2010 were stonier based, yet this one isn't, it's a fusion of styles made astonishing.
I can write on and on about the album and the funny thing is that I can't isolate any songs to recommend, all songs in the album are startling, So if you will listen to me don't read the review just listen to the album and maybe you will be "wise as a serpent and hungry like a wolf".
