Kissing Kaos are are a band which crosses the sound of Punk Rock with Heavy Melodic Rock.This debut album was a result from seeds planted in 2022,which were fully realised in late 2024.After Joe Flynt parted ways with his former band Asphalt Valentine.Joe wanted to write songs that were melodic, full of energy and that could bridge the gap between old and new school bands. He quickly recruited Asphalt Valentine drummer Brian Jung , after Brian heard the new material. Guitarist Jon Lansburg was recommended by producer Andy Reilly because of his broad musical influences, stage experience and technical abilities. Rounding out the lineup is bassist Chris Taylor of the band Kickin Valentina. Initially, Chris was just going to help with a couple music videos but loved the music so much, he ended up joining the band, co-writing a few songs and playing on the rest of the album.

This debut album opens with a very modern & solid sound. "Hey Sugar" has some very solid riffs ,with the rhythm section very tight & together with some solid vocals,this is a promising start to this debut."Tear It Down" follows the opener,in which i find Chris Taylor's bass to be a prominent feature in the mix,a track which motors along with a melodic themed chorus,the guitars touches in this track are very well delivered from Jon Landsberg."Heartache And Scars" is another strong track which builds in the verses and bridge to a sold,strong anthemic chorus."Fake Me" is another modern rock track,which also some modern punk elements also to the melody,another quality track with a strong chorus."To Your Limit" is another track which follows along the lines as the previous number,which is another solid modern track."Breakthrough" starts acoustically which is through  out in the verses,before breaking in the chorus with powerful energy,a solid ballad style with some well written lyrics."The Joker"  is a more up tempo track which is very much guitar driven,which motors along,the guitar work is again top notch with some great runs and solid riffs.

"Chaos Inside" which is the first single from this debut, is another anthemic,energised rocker which is not only uplifting but is a positive sounding track lyrically.The album ends with the second single "Yesterdays Kids" which ends strongly,with strong momentum,this track is another great anthemic number with a great catchy & ear worm chorus."To Your Limit" is a very impressive debut album from Kissing Kaos.Each of the nine tracks I found to be very punchy modern Hard Rock numbers,at times there was a punk style element to their sound which made the tracks more interesting.Lots of guitar driven melodies,solid rhythm and vocally solid.One of this years most promising debut albums which I have heard so far this year,A very solid debut which I hope is just the start for Kissing Kaos."To Your Limit" is available 1st May via Mighty Music.
