Wreckage
Moonlit Masquerade

This EP by MOONLIT MASQUERADE was released in December 2025, so I'm quite amazed at why nobody picked up on them before now. This the debut release by these people from Vancouver, Wahington State, USA. What they bring us is very Epic and Melodic Power Rock and Metal. These three songs clock just under 15 minutes, but I have to say that in that short time they have wowed me in more ways than one. Not only is the production one of excellence, but the three songs that are being presented to us are all above reproach, are all of a very high standard.
Opening song and title track "Wreckage" is a pure Rock Opera tune. It has all the hallmarks of how SAVATAGE and TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA used to sound. Not only that, but the quality of the tack itself easily rivals that of those two bands. It has depth, it has bloody good vocal harmonies and the musicians do prove that they know how to handle their instruments.
The latter even becomes more apparent during the instrumental second track "Deceiver". This is simply put a brilliant delivery of how you can make music without any vocals sound extremely interesting. Everything is right, every note is essential, all the guitar solos fit into their slots with ease and the end result is an almost perfect instrumental track. Hats off to MOONLIT MASQUERADE.
As for the third song, "Show Me The Way" is as religious or even more than STRYPER usually showcases. But again, it has all the elements of what you would expect from a very good group of musicians that clearly form MOONLIT MASQUERADE. If you can't hack the message, try and ignore it, and just listen as to how good the music is that has been written, how good it all sounds together. The only thing I don't get in this song is the fade out ate the end. What a waste.
Conclusion I have to give you about this MOONLIT MASQUERADE EP "Wreckage" is that I have become extremely interested not only in this release, but I am very much looking out for anything that they come up with in the future. If they are able to pull off anything in the vein of this EP, they will be a force to be reckoned with. But until then, be sure to check out this release. I have a feeling that a lot of people will feel like I do, and predict them a very bright future if they get it right. What an introduction to MOONLIT MASQUERADE.
